The
Great Circle
Mariners have long known that the
shortest sailing distance on a globe is the Great Circle.
By integrating the prevailing currents into their sailing
plan, ships can cross the oceans faster and safer than
by following a straight line to reach their destination.
Successful information systems often follow the same pattern,
taking a course which might not be the most obvious to
reach their destination, yet saving time and effort in
the long run.
Background
Great Circle Systems was founded
by three individuals uniquely qualified to serve the
luxury yacht industry, combining extensive software
development and network system integration experience
with many years of hands on experience in boating. The
Company's products and services assist in the construction
and operation of vessels over 40 meters in length (called
"super-yachts"). The Company has applied for
patents on its proprietary software Triton Administrator™
and it's Web-based technical support and backup.

and computer system support in the super yacht industry.
