This position provides an excellent mid-level entry into our growing Company with an opportunity to participate as an integral part of our vibrant, entrepreneurial sales vision. You will work closely with Management to identify, prospect and qualify sales opportunities with local, national and international Yacht Management Companies, Shipyards, Refit Facilities, Vessels and Organizations. With knowledge of Great Circle Systems’ services and solutions, you will identify and initiate contact with prospects in targeted industries to introduce our solutions for their Crews, Vessels, Offices or Projects. You will also respond to and deal with our extensive existing customer base.

Primary Duties:

  • Become proficient in explaining and demonstrating GCS’s products, technology, services and support offerings and the features and benefits they bring.
  • Research and develop prospecting lists based on targeted areas such as Management Companies, Shipyards, Refit Facilities, Vessels, and Organizations
  • Conduct outbound telephone and email campaigns to introduce GCS’s products and services and arrange follow on sales appointments
  • Provide follow-up and follow-through on customer/potential customer calls & inquiries
  • Maintain sales database (CRM) of opportunities and track progress in the sales process with provided tools, including weekly pipeline reporting to management
  • Review proposed solutions with Engineering Team, and develop customer solutions including bill of materials and pricing
  • Increase industry profile by representing GCS through association memberships and networking events
  • Develop and present sales proposals
  • Conduct customer site surveys as required
  • Develop and maintain database of competitive information


  • Technical Diploma or Associates degree (minimum) in an Engineering, Computer Science or related discipline, or proven experience in entry level technical sales of at least 3 years
  • Strong communication skills
  • Effective interpersonal and influence skills to quickly gain credibility with customers
  • Excellent negotiating skills with the ability to drive closures
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Computer and Internet "savvy"
  • Willingness to travel
  • Prefer individuals with knowledge of, and experience in the Superyacht Industry
